Apostle Larry Jennings, Senior Pastor
A servant of God for over 25 years, Apostle "J" is a man called to father other men in the Kingdom. He was ordained an Apostle in 2013, but he's always been a father to hurting men and women in the Kingdom. "There are so many men who are fatherless, not just physically, but spiritually." says Apostle "J". "I've never seen such an shortage of spiritual fathers who lack integrity and transparency. Therefore, it's my goal to bring reformation back to the church for sincere fathers who love their children without dissemination or expectation of anything in return. As a retired Air Force veteran, Apostle J understands the role of a servant as he served his spiritual father for 17 years as his adjutant. However, his concept of serving is not to only serve up but to serve down. He believes that your people are your best commodity in the church and if you treat people right, they in turn, will treat you right. Apostle "J's'" greatest desire is to build people and see them walk in their freedom. He operates strongly in the gift of healing and deliverance and believes that every person deserves to be free. The word of knowledge is prevalent in his delivery of the word; and his serious, but down-to-Earth approach ministers directly to the heart. His passion is to see lives transformed as he pours his soul into the local community at the Fayette County Jail mentoring and transitioning men into their God given purpose to ensure they do not re-enter the system for any reason. As a mentor, he supports on-the-spot training. "Activation and continuous implementation is essential. God gave gifts to the body of Christ to use, not sit on them or allow them to go dormant in the lives of the saints" Therefore, his vision for the church is to equip, empower and encourage and when feasible, use every opportunity as a teaching moment. "There are too many believers who are called with diversified gifts and many have a great desire to serve." says Apostle "J'. Unfortunately, there are many who are never given the opportunity to exercise their gifts, so instead of receiving courage to become who God called them to be, they develop a life of fear and never reach their full purpose and destiny in God". Here at Freedom to Live Ministries I have the mandate to equip, empower, encourage the saints for the work of the ministry. Additionally, it's my mandate to lay hands on the sick, and set the captive the free through the power of deliverance. Apostle J is happily married to his lovely wife, Kelly of over twenty years. He has two girls, Lauryn and Michelle. He is also blessed with his son, Larry III, who has expanded the Jennings legacy with two awesome grandsons. Larry III and his sons reside together in Washington, D.C.
